Iranian football club Esteghlal sacked Ricardo Sa Pinto in February and entrusted the team to Sohrab Bakhtiarizadeh.
Idman.Biz reports that the expert's contract with Esteghlal amounted to approximately 600 thousand US dollars (1 million AZN). According to reports, Sa Pinto has filed a complaint with FIFA to receive the full amount of the contract due to the club terminating cooperation with him. This amount also includes certain additions.
It is reported that the Esteghlal club has already paid 60 percent of the amount stipulated in the expert's contract. Sa Pinto's assistants, although the club wanted to continue cooperation with them, left the team on a mutual agreement because they were not inclined to do so.
