Sport24.az reports, citing local media, that resignations have begun as a result of an internal investigation by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) after 17 referees, 1 Super League club president, 1 former club owner, and a former union leader were detained on charges of "abuse of office" and "influencing the outcome of a competition."
45 people who confessed to betting have resigned. These individuals have been removed from the weekend match lists and replaced with new representatives.
