The Reserve League will be abolished in the 2026/2027 season. According to Sport24.az, members of the AFFA Executive Committee are in favor of abolishing the organization of this competition.
However, they also considered it appropriate to obtain the opinion of the Clubs Committee (CC).
Committee members also share the same opinion as the Executive Committee. They also believe that holding the Reserve League is an additional expense.
Thus, the tournament will be officially abolished in the near future.
