Work has begun on the academy of the Spanish Football Club "Barcelona", which will open in Baku.
Idman.biz, citing "Report", informs that renovation and reconstruction work is being carried out at the "ASK Arena", where the academy will be located.
The restoration of the main field with an area of approximately 9,500 square meters, as well as the auxiliary training ground with an area of approximately 4,200 square meters, and the installation of a new lawn covering are being carried out by AzFar company.
The project also envisages the following works:
- Updating the lamps intended for lighting football fields in accordance with modern requirements
- Major repairs of changing rooms, sanitary facilities, technical and auxiliary rooms intended for athletes and club personnel
- Installation and full commissioning of ventilation and air conditioning systems in the administrative area where the above-mentioned rooms are located
AzFar company representative Shovgi Babayev told reporters that renovation and reconstruction work at the "ASK Arena" is being carried out as part of the planned opening of the "Barcelona" club's children's football school in Azerbaijan. He added that the restoration of the main field with an area of approximately 9,500 square meters, as well as the auxiliary training ground with an area of approximately 4,200 square meters, and the installation of a new lawn covering will be carried out by AzFar company.
