Former Colombian national team goalkeeper, currently working as a goalkeeping coach at Colombian club "Atletico Nacional", Rene Higuita has given James Rodriguez advice regarding the choice of his new workplace. He spoke about this to "Marca" publication:
"Because I work at Atletico Nacional, I would like to see James in my team. If I were the head coach, I would invite him. In Mexico, fans admired his game throughout the entire season. Talking about Rodriguez in Colombia is like talking about Lionel Messi or Diego Maradona in Argentina. They are different players, and their skill brings color, brightness, and beauty to football."
It should be noted that some time ago, there were reports that Rodriguez, who wants to go to the World Cup with the Colombian national team, wants to leave the Mexican club "Leon" and move to a more ambitious club.
