Chelsea FC player Renato Veiga could continue his career with Spanish side Villarreal.
Report, citing the BBC, reports that the 22-year-old defender has agreed personal terms with the La Liga team.
However, negotiations are ongoing between the clubs regarding the transfer fee. "The Aristocrats" are asking for 40 million euros for the Portuguese player. The other side intends to pay 35 million.
It should be noted that Renato Veiga spent the second half of the 2024/2025 season on loan at Italian side Juventus. He was remembered for 2 goals and 2 assists in 33 games in all tournaments. The footballer has a contract with Chelsea until the summer of 2031.
