The referees for the "Qarabag" - "Newcastle" match, which will be held in Baku as part of the Champions League play-off stage, have been announced. Sport24.az reports that the head referee is Espen Eskaas.
He will be assisted by assistant referees Jan-Erik Engan and Isaak Elias Bashevkin. The fourth referee will be Sigurd Kringstad. The refereeing team represents Norway.
The "Qarabag" - "Newcastle" match will be held on February 18 at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium and will start at 21:45.
In addition, Eskaas previously refereed the Azerbaijan - Ireland (0:3) match in Group A as part of the qualifying stage for the EC-2022.
