The appointments for both matches of "Qarabag" against North Macedonia's "Shkëndija" in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League have been announced. Sport24.az reports that the first match in Skopje will be officiated by a team of referees from Slovakia, while the return match in Baku will be officiated by a team from the Netherlands.
Ivan Kružliak will be the main referee of "Qarabag"'s away match. He will be assisted by Branislav Hančko and Jan Pozor. Peter Kralovič will be the fourth official. The VAR referee for the match will be Michal Očenáš, and the AVAR referee will be Boris Marhefka.
The match in Baku will be managed by Danny Makkelie. He will be assisted by Hessel Steegstra and Jan de Vries. Mark Nagtegaal will be the fourth official. The VAR referee for this match will be Dennis Higler, and the AVAR referee will be Richard Martens.
It should be noted that the match between the teams will start on August 5 at the "Todor Proeski" stadium in North Macedonia at 22:00 Baku time. The match to be held on August 12 at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium will start at 20:00.
