Zorbay Küçük, whom the Turkish Football Federation accused of betting on matches, has filed a lawsuit.
İdman.Biz reports that the 33-year-old referee said in his statement.
"I can say with complete sincerity and ease that not only during my refereeing career, but also before, I have never been a member of any betting site, I have never opened an account or placed a bet on any betting site. Not only in football, but in any sport. I can say this with complete certainty. Now we are here to reveal the facts. We have completed the necessary procedures. I would like to explain in more detail, but I will not be able to do so at this time," said Küçük.
It should be noted that the Turkish Football Federation previously stated that 152 referees participated in betting games.
