The specialist shared his thoughts after the away victory over Iceland (5:3) in the qualifying round of WC-2026:
"Unfortunately, we conceded two goals even when we took the lead in the score. It is difficult for every team to play here. Scoring five goals is especially difficult. Today, the victory was very important for us. We will analyze our mistakes and prepare for the game against the Azerbaijan national team. If we don't win the next match, this victory will be meaningless."
It should be noted that the Ukraine-Azerbaijan match will be held on October 13.
