An employee of the Transfermarkt statistics website said that Portuguese national team forward Cristiano Ronaldo unfollowed the portal on social media because he disagreed with his market value in 2018.
İdman.Biz reports that this season Ronaldo has played 17 matches for Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr and the Portuguese national team, scoring 16 goals and providing two assists.
"Players pay attention to Transfermarkt. A clear example of this is Cristiano Ronaldo, who at the age of 34 was angry that his market value fell from 120 million euros to 75 million euros between 2018 and 2019 and decided to block us. But fortunately everything ended well: Cristiano signed a contract with us again last year," Sport.es quotes a Transfermarkt employee.
