The reason why Ukraine national team head coach Serhiy Rebrov did not call up goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, who plays for Spanish club "Real", has become known.
According to "Report", local insider Igor Burbas reported that a dispute arose between the specialist and the 26-year-old goalkeeper.
According to him, Lunin wanted a guarantee that he would be the team's main goalkeeper. He emphasized that he would not be interested in coming to the national team if this was not the case.
Serhiy Rebrov said that the "frame guard" who wins the competition will play in the starting lineup, and did not send an invitation to Lunin.
It should be noted that Andriy Lunin has not played in a match for "Real" this season. The Ukrainian national team will face Iceland in Reykjavik on October 10 and Azerbaijan in Krakow on October 13 in Group D. Currently, the team's main goalkeeper is Anatoliy Trubin ("Benfica", Portugal).
