Head coach of Spanish club "Real Sociedad", Pellegrino Matarazzo, commented on the two penalties awarded to the opponent in the match against Madrid's "Real" team in the 24th round of the championship.
Idman.Biz reports that the specialist stated that he saw no reason for VAR to change the decision in both episodes.
"In both cases, there was contact, so there was no reason for VAR to overturn the decisions. Yes, the player was looking for contact to gain an advantage, but the situation against two people partially arose from blocking his run. The aim was to stop him from going forward, but it didn't work in either episode," said Matarazzo.
After 24 rounds, the Madrid representative leads the standings with 60 points.
