Real Madrid has abandoned its intention to transfer Liverpool's center-back Ibrahima Konate due to the decline in his playing form.
Lent.az reports that the "Royal Club" has already conveyed its decision to the Mersysiders. It is noted that Real's refusal to transfer Konate may further bring the French defender closer to extending his contract with Liverpool, which expires in the summer of 2026.
In the current part of the season, the defender has participated in 18 games in all tournaments and scored one goal. According to Transfermarkt, the footballer's market value is 55 million euros.
