Sport24.az reports that the captain of the Madrid team, Dani Carvajal, drew attention with his sharp protest against the head referee of the game, Slavko Vinčić. After the match, the experienced defender blamed the referee and addressed harsh words to him:
"This is your fault! Your damned fault!"
The reason for the "Royal Club's" dissatisfaction was Eduardo Camavinga's controversial second yellow card and Luis Diaz's goal, which made the score 3:3.
