"Real" football club has withdrawn from the European Super League project.
Lent.az reports that this is stated in the club's statement.
The statement notes that "Real" has reached an agreement in principle with UEFA and the European Club Association (ECA) for the sake of the welfare of European club football.
"Real" was the last club remaining in this project. Thus, the project has ceased its activity.
It should be reminded that the European Super League project was first announced in 2021. The initiative was criticized by FIFA, UEFA and national associations. A few days ago, "Barcelona" also announced its departure from the project.
