The amount of the prize money that Real Madrid earned for their performance in the Club World Cup has been revealed.
İdman.biz reports that the "Royal Club" advanced to the semi-finals of the World Cup, where they lost 0:4 to PSG.
According to "Mundo Deportivo", Real Madrid earned 74.4 million euros from this tournament. Of these, 31.4 million were received simply for participation. 3.7 million euros were earned for each of the victories in the group stage games against Pachuca and Salzburg, and 925 thousand euros for the draw with Al-Hilal.
For victories over Juventus and Borussia Dortmund in the 1/8 and 1/4 finals, Real Madrid earned 23.8 million and 19.5 million euros, respectively.
