"Real Madrid" has positively assessed the decision of the Provincial Court of Madrid to reject the appeals of UEFA, the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), and La Liga.
Idman.Biz reports that the court has confirmed that UEFA violated the European Union's free competition rules and abused its dominant position in the Super League matter.
"This decision confirms that UEFA violated European competition laws and abused its dominant position in the Super League case. The decision creates an opportunity for the club to be compensated for the significant damages it has suffered," the club said in a statement.
"Real Madrid" also emphasized that numerous negotiations were held with UEFA throughout 2025, but no agreement was reached on issues such as more transparent governance, financial sustainability, protection of players' health, and globally accessible and free broadcast models for fans.
