"Real Madrid"'s plane was unable to land at Newark Airport for several hours due to a severe storm.
Lent.az reports that the Madrid club requested the cancellation of head coach Xabi Alonso's press conference because the plane was not granted landing permission for two hours. Even the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) intervened in the matter, trying to help and ensure that the plane landed quickly.
On July 9, "Real" will face PSG of Paris in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup. The winner of this match will face "Chelsea" in the final.
