The management of the Spanish football club "Real Madrid" has made a fundamental decision regarding the extension of Antonio Rüdiger's contract.
Idman.Biz reports that, according to "Onda Cero", the reason for this decision is simple: the Madrid club considers Rüdiger stronger than most defenders in the current transfer market.
Despite "Real" being linked with several central defenders recently, the management prefers to keep the German footballer as the current option and only plans to evaluate other possibilities after that.
Reportedly, Rüdiger himself wants a new two-year contract. However, the likelihood of the "Royal Club" agreeing to this is considered low. A one-year extension option for the German defender is being discussed within the club as a more realistic option.
At the same time, sources report that Saudi Arabian clubs are increasingly interested in Rüdiger. Although "Real Madrid" is satisfied with the footballer's current performance, it is noted that a final decision on his future has not yet been fully formed.
