Real Madrid midfielder Franco Mastantuono will not leave the Spanish giant during the winter "transfer window" in order to gain more playing time in the second half of the 2025/2026 season. The Madrid club has no intention of sending the Argentine on loan to any club. Journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano shared this on his social media account, Sport24.az reports.
According to the source, Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso and the club's management want to see Franco in the camp.
It should be noted that, according to media reports some time ago, Mastantuono would go on loan to a club where he could gain more playing experience in order to go to the World Cup as part of the Argentine national team. It was even reported that Napoli was ready to pay 50 million euros for the player's transfer.
Mastantuono has been playing for Real Madrid since August 2025, and the Spanish club paid River Plate 45 million euros for the young player. The midfielder has played 14 games in all tournaments for the Madrid club, scored one goal and provided one assist.
