The "Real Madrid" management has decided not to put forwards Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior up for transfer based on the results of the current season.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the club admits that coaches Carlo Ancelotti, Xabi Alonso and Alvaro Arbeloa have not been able to fully unlock the team's potential in the last two years.
The main reason for this is the numerous injuries of the players, which made it difficult for the players to adapt.
The team also includes Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao, Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde and Arda Güler. Their departure from the team in the near transfer window is not planned.
Xabi Alonso became the team's head coach in May 2025, but in January 2026 he was replaced by Alvaro Arbeloa.
In the 2025/26 season, "Real Madrid" stopped competing in the UEFA Champions League tournament in the 1/4 final stage, losing to "Bayern Munich" with a total score of 3:4. In the Spanish championship, seven rounds before the end of the season, they are nine points behind "Barcelona".
