"Benfica" surrendered: after a week of refusals, the club finally accepted "Real"'s offer - 22-year-old Alvaro Carreras moves to Madrid for 50 million euros. The amount will be paid in installments.
Lent.az, citing foreign media, reports that the Spaniard is a "Real" graduate, but he left to conquer Europe. The last club to do so was "Benfica", which included him in the Club World Cup application. But now, after the tournament is over, the parties have quickly completed the deal.
This is already "Real"'s third defensive reinforcement this summer.
Carreras' transfer causes a chain reaction:
- Fran Garcia could go to Milan for 20 million euros, he is expected there after Theo Hernandez goes to Al-Hilal
