After the transfers made last summer, the main goal of the "royal club" is to complete the defense line.
It is expected that Antonio Rüdiger and David Alaba will leave the team in the summer of 2026. Extension of contracts with both players is not planned.
Their place will be taken by Ibrahima Konate, who currently plays for Liverpool, and Joan Martinez, the 18-year-old defender of Real's second team. Head coach Xabi Alonso wants the young player to be gradually adapted to the main team.
