"Real" is ready to begin negotiations with defender Antonio Rüdiger to extend his contract until 2027. This was reported by "Marca", according to Sport24.az.
According to the source, several European clubs are monitoring the situation and are ready to transfer the player if he fails to reach an agreement with the "Royal Club".
Rüdiger's current contract with "Real" expires at the end of the current season.
Some time ago, there were reports in the press that "Juventus" was showing serious interest in the defender. The head coach of the Italian club, Luciano Spalletti, previously worked successfully with Rüdiger at "Roma" and therefore wants to see the German defender at his disposal.
It should be noted that Antonio has played 18 games for "Real" in all tournaments this season and has provided one assist.
