Former Real Madrid forward Raul Gonzalez has stated that Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal will not be the key figure for the Spanish national team at the 2026 World Cup.

Raul believes that despite the young footballer's talent, he is not yet at a level to carry the team's burden alone.
According to him, Yamal will become an important player for the national team in the future, but currently, the main role belongs to more experienced players.
