Former Azerbaijani national team footballer Rauf Aliyev believes that it will be difficult for the team to end the spell of failure in the friendly match against Hungary.
The 36-year-old expert, who gave an interview to "Report" about this, said that the national team is expecting a difficult test in this match.
"Hungary is many times stronger than Latvia, and they have famous football players in their squad. I watched their last match against Turkey in the UEFA Nations League. They have many quality football players in their squad. Unfortunately, the Azerbaijani national team has not been able to win since the arrival of head coach Fernando Santos. It will be difficult to break this spell in the match against Hungary. Because the opponent is strong. At least I expect an interesting match because we are playing at our own stadium. We believe in our players."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan-Hungary match will start tomorrow at "Liv Bona Dea Arena" at 20:00.
