– We came out for a very important game. Cup response games carry tension and stress. Both in preparation and in the game. Because the mistake made here cannot be corrected. There was tension on us. We played 2 important games in 4 days. I thank my players, they showed selflessness and professionalism. We continue. There is a critical period ahead. I think we need to work harder and be more careful than before.

– What was the difference between today's game and the previous two games against "Sumgayit"?

– There was no difference. "Sumgayit" has a good attacking power. Thank God, we won today without giving the opponent goal opportunities. This was important. All three games went the same. We could have lost today too.

– If there is no sensation, you will face "Turan Tovuz" in the semi-finals. This team is also your main rival in the championship for qualifying for European Cups…

– I see "Turan Tovuz" close to the semi-finals. But there is still a return game. We can say something definite after that. Therefore, we are currently waiting for the game against "Kapaz" in the championship, not the next opponent.

– Do you have a squad to make rotations in a difficult period?

– Today was perhaps the first game of the season that we played with a full squad. The recovery of football players is very important. Our squad is enough for rotation. I think we are ready for this as needed. We are entering an important period, we have a busy schedule. There are games with "Kapaz", then "Garabagh", then "Karvan-Yevlakh". Everything depends on the players.
