"Zira" is awaiting a crucial stage in the Azerbaijan Cup and Misli Premier League.
"Report" reports that the head coach of the aforementioned club, Rashad Sadigov, said this at a press conference after the return match against "Sumgayit" in the 1/4 final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup.
He said that they were happy to reach the semi-finals:
"We played a very responsible game. Return matches in cup tournaments are usually more tense and psychologically difficult. In such matches, it is not possible to compensate for mistakes later. The team felt pressure. I am grateful to my players - they demonstrated a high level of professionalism. We are facing a crucial stage in both the cup and the Premier League. We must work more seriously and diligently."
It should be noted that the match "Zira" - "Sumgayit" ended with a 2:0 victory for the "eagles" (first match - 0:0).
