– What did you talk about with the players during the break?

– During the break, we talked about starting the second half actively. There were two different halves in the cup game. We knew that "Sumgayit" has a good attacking power. The first minutes of the second half were difficult for us. The goal we conceded benefited us. After that, we played more actively. We had combinations, but we couldn't score. The goal we wanted came in the 89th minute.

– You haven't been able to win for a long time. You ended the series today. Do you need character or skill to win?

– To win, you have to be good in all components, you have to do your best. Both today and in the cup game, we played well, I was satisfied with the players. We knew that today would be difficult as well. The more such games there are, the more interesting our championship will be.

– How do you assess the chances in the cup after this game?

– Everything in the cup will be from 0. We know the strength of "Sumgayit" and it is impossible to say that we are superior in anything. We will try to make sure that our injured players recover completely before the game. Every loss affects the team. For example, today "Sumgayit" also had losses. If they had been there, it would have been more difficult for us.

– After the match with "Neftchi", you stated that the second part of the season will be difficult. Have you prepared any backup option for this difficulty?

– Our team has a certain strategy. We would also like to strengthen the team with different players. But I am satisfied with the players we have. Sometimes it takes time for them to unlock their potential. We try to do the best of our abilities.

– Have you closed the transfer period? Will this squad be enough for a ticket to the European Cups?

– Our best option is for our players to be in ideal shape. The fewer injuries, the fewer losses. Maybe, if we can, we will strengthen with one player. There was no news. A maximum of one transfer is possible. At the moment, our best weapon is the players being in good shape.

– What is his position?

– He plays in attack. Both as a winger and as a striker.
