"In the first half, we withstood the opponent's intense attacks, did not leave gaps in defense, and built attacks".
Idman.Biz reports that these words were said by Rashad Eyyubov, the head coach of the Azerbaijan national team consisting of football players under the age of 21.
He also said the following while commenting on the game (0:5) held with the Czech Republic national team in Karvina as part of the European Championship qualifying round at the press conference:
"We conceded the first goal shortly before the break. However, until that moment, the opponent was not doing anything extraordinary. But in the second half, especially after the 55th minute, we could not withstand the intensity".
R.Eyyubov stated that the national team has a maximum of 4-5 days to prepare for a match:
"I still don't think the problem is related to physical condition. We are just having trouble competing at the same pace".
It should be noted that our U-21 national team will play its next match against the Scottish national team at home on October 14.
