The main goal is to improve the psychology of Azerbaijani football players.
According to "Report", this was stated at a press conference by Rashad Eyyubov, the coach of the Azerbaijani national football team.
The specialist shared his thoughts on the qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup against the Ukrainian national team:
"We conducted our training according to plan. In a short time, our main task is to raise the mood. We will see tomorrow to what extent it worked out. Our main goal is to psychologically uplift the team. The football team is complete in terms of quality. We don't think that one player will come out and do something extraordinary. I believe that we have the strength and we will see a good game in this regard."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan-Ukraine match will take place on September 9 at 20:00 at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium.
