Rashad Eyyubov: Draw with Bulgaria is a fair result
Rashad Eyyubov, the head coach of the Azerbaijani national team consisting of U-21 football players, shared his thoughts after the match (0:0) against the Bulgarian national team in Plovdiv in the qualifying round of the European Championship: "Our team performed more actively in this match. Today, the players clearly demonstrated on the field what they are capable of. They were not afraid of either the opponent or the atmosphere in the stadium. We played very well in the first half and had most of the ball control. After the break, the opponent's pressure increased, which is natural. I think the draw is a fair result. Both teams had dangerous episodes. Overall, I saw positive aspects in my team's performance. With such a foundation, we can look to the future positively." It should be noted that U-21 will play their next group match at home against the Czech Republic on September 25.
