The "GiveMeSport" portal has compiled a list of contenders for the "Golden Boy" award. Sport24.az reports that this award is given to the best young football player of the year in Europe. All candidates must be under 21 years of age and play in the top division of one of the European championships.
The ranking is headed by PSG player Desire Doué.
The following places are occupied by Myles Lewis-Skelly (Arsenal), Pau Cubarsí (Barcelona), Dean Huijsen (Real Madrid), Ethan Nwaneri (Arsenal), Warren Zaïre-Emery (PSG), Kenan Yıldız (Juventus), Tom Bischof (Hoffenheim), Eliesse Ben Seghir (Monaco), Jorrel Hato (Ajax), Arda Güler (Real Madrid), Geovani Quenda (Sporting), Claudio Echeverri (Manchester City), and Kobbie Mainoo (Manchester United).
It should be noted that last year the award was received by Barcelona player Lamine Yamal.
