Ramiz Mammadov's membership as Deputy Chairman of the Board of "Shamakhi" Football Club has been terminated.

It was reported that this was due to Mammadov's appointment as head coach of the "Mingachevir" club, which represents the I League. The specialist, who has been working as the Deputy Chairman since 2022, was also appointed as the head coach of the main team in the 2023/24 season, and under his leadership, "Shamakhi" became the champion in the I League and returned to the Premier League.
He was replaced in this position by Vali Gasimov, a former national football player who has been working as the head of the youth development program in the club for the last 3 years.
