Ramil Sheydayev is living his last days in "Neftchi". The striker of our national team will soon say goodbye to the capital club.
İdman.biz, referring to Futbolinfo.az, reports that Sheydayev has an option to go to Turkey.
In addition to "Serik Belediyespor", several other lower league clubs are interested in Ramil.
The striker, who has two years left on his contract with "Neftchi", realized that he has no prospects in the team. He was informed that head coach Samir Abasov would not trust him. The national team member, who is expected to be sent to the reserve team, does not want to accept this situation. Therefore, he has begun to weigh the offers he has received.
Sheydayev receives more than $40,000 a month at "Neftchi". He was trying to stay because he realized that he would not be able to sign such a profitable contract elsewhere. However, knowing that not playing would be a blow to his career and prospects in the national team, he plans to receive some compensation from "Neftchi" and go to Turkey.
Since the transfer window is about to close, Ramil wants his fate to be clarified by the end of August. Therefore, he has resumed negotiations with "Serik Belediyespor". Since the owner of this club is Azerbaijani, the possibility of the transfer is not small.
It should be noted that Ramil has played in Turkey twice before. He was in "Trabzonspor" in 2016-17. The forward also spent the first half of 2024 in "Kocaelispor".
