Former Croatian national team midfielder Ivan Rakitić shared his thoughts on Luka Modrić's departure from "Real Madrid" last summer.
İdman.Biz reports that he believes the Madrid club made a mistake with this decision.
"They should have insisted he stay at "Real Madrid" - they made a big mistake. Luka shows that there is no age limit in football," said Ivan Rakitić.
He added that considering the current situation, the head coach of the Madrid team would like to see Modrić in the team again:
"Considering how things are going in Madrid right now, I'm sure the head coach would be happy to have him in the squad".
