"Turan Tovuz" goalkeeper Sergey Samok's clean sheet streak in the Misli Premier League has been broken. Sport24.az reports, citing the official website of the Professional Football League, that the Russian goalkeeper conceded his first goal of the season in the away match against "Kapaz" (1:1) in the 24th round.
Rahman Hajiyev broke Samok's streak in the 55th minute. Before that, the goalkeeper, who kept his goal untouched 2 times in the previous championship and 6 times in the current season, last conceded a goal in the XXXIV round of the 2024/2025 season. He was unable to save the ball scored by Dembo Darbo in the 32nd minute of the home match against "Neftchi" on May 10, 2025 (1:2).
Before Hajiyev's goal, Samok had 812 "dry" minutes. He became the 9th gloveman in the history of the highest division of Azerbaijani championships to achieve a series of 800 minutes or more.
