"It was a difficult game. Everyone knew the name and level of our opponent." These words were said by Rahman Dashdamirov, a "Sabah" football player, in his statement to Sport24.az.
The 25-year-old wing defender shared his thoughts on the final game of the Azerbaijan Cup, in which they defeated "Qarabag" (3:2):
"We did what we could in this match. Luck was on our side too. We were able to score the winning goal in the last minutes. I thought the match would go to a penalty shootout. Thank God we won."
The player also spoke about Sabah's first title: "Every football player wants to win a title. I got it with Sabah."
Dashdamirov also spoke about the goals in European Cups: "A lot depends on which team we face. We will try to get the maximum result."
