According to Rahim Hasanov, who was appointed Chairman of the AFFA Referees Committee, there has been no stability in the management of referees in the Misli Premier League for several rounds. Sport24.az reports that he made a statement about this to "Report".
Hasanov thanked the AFFA leadership for his appointment:
"We know that we are taking on this burden at the most difficult time of the championship. But as the Referees Committee, we will do our best to gather the referees and prepare them for the games in a short time. There has been no stable refereeing in several rounds. The reasons for this are being investigated. The initial version is their psychological unpreparedness. Individual meetings and discussions will be held with each referee to eliminate this."
The Chairman also emphasized that no major changes are expected within the Committee at the moment:
"But there is a need for innovations, and this information will be communicated to you in time. We want to add young, new referees to the list. But our referee resources are not so rich at the moment. We need to work in this direction. I believe in my referees and I hope that they will prepare more seriously for the upcoming games and demonstrate their abilities."
