"It has never been easy to return with a point from Zaqatala." These words were said to Sport24.az by Rahid Amirguliyev, president and captain of the First League representative "Shahdag Gusar".
The experienced footballer commented on his team's defeat to "Zaqatala" in the 8th round of the First League:
"It cannot be said that the opponent was superior to us. Both teams had opportunities. That is, an equal game was going on. I think we could have returned with at least one point. The refereeing in the match was terrible. He made all the decisions in favor of Zaqatala. Of course, I don't want to overshadow Zaqatala's victory, but if the referee had managed the game normally, we could have returned with one point. I have started training with the team. But I am not 100 percent ready to play. Hopefully, I will be fully ready in the near future."
It should be noted that the match between "Zaqatala" and "Shahdag Gusar" ended with a minimal victory for the home team.
