Barcelona star footballer Rafinha has been awarded the "Toreski" award - the best athlete of the year - at a ceremony organized by "Cadena SER".
Idman.Biz reports that the Brazilian winger has made quite ambitious and harsh statements on the subject of individual awards.
He emphasized that he was treated unfairly last season:
"For me, team successes are more important than anything. But I would be lying if I said that individual awards are unimportant. I know very well how I spent the season and where I was treated unfairly. But this is not something I control. My job is on the field. It seems that you need to be friends with those who vote to get the award. Whatever happens, I am satisfied with the game I showed."

The football player ironically stated about the award presented to him, "finally, someone was found who watched the games."
Touching on the goal celebrations he did with Lamin Yamal, the star player emphasized that these actions symbolize their connection to each other:
"We found this joy on social networks and discussed how to do it together. Doing it every time we score a goal is an indication of our love for each other."
