"Record" reports that "Benfica" could be the next club for "Bayern" defender Rafael Guerreiro.
On Monday, March 30, "Bayern" announced that Guerreiro would leave the club at the end of the season. The Portuguese player's contract will not be extended; the parties have reached an agreement on this decision.
The Lisbon club is considering transferring the 32-year-old defender in the summer transfer window. "Benfica" officials highly value Guerreiro, but there is no guarantee that an offer will be made.
It is interesting that the player has not yet played in his home country at the club level. During his time at Bayern, Guerreiro played 89 games, scored 12 goals and provided eight assists.
