World-famous Azerbaijani karate fighter Rafael Aghayev showed his support to the football players by visiting the camp of the women's national team.
He told "Report" in his statement that he motivated the team.
R. Aghayev emphasized that he would try to watch the match between the Azerbaijani national team and Lithuania in the group stage of the UEFA Nations League:
"I was invited to a meeting with the national team members. I showed my support to the team, I gave motivation. Our discussions were only for the purpose of motivation. I promised that if I have time, I will watch the games. I would like to watch the match with Lithuania, why not? We need to support both the women's and men's national teams. Each of them is our pride."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan-Lithuania match will be held on May 30 at 18:00 at the Bayil Stadium.
