Qusar City Stadium named after Shovkat Ordukhanov has been transferred to the balance of the Ministry of Youth and Sports by "Azenco" company.
İdman.biz reports that Zulfiya Ismayilova, the company's administrative affairs specialist, told Telegraf about this.
According to her, handover operations are currently underway. The process will be completed by the end of July.
It should be noted that Qusar City Stadium was commissioned in 1962. In 2016, the arena was demolished and reconstruction work began. But the restoration process was stopped in May 2024. For this reason, "Shahdag Qusar" team, representing the city and winning a ticket to the First League, had to hold their home games in various stadiums, and in the last season, at the Shamakhi Olympic Sports Complex.
