Qarabag, which is holding a training camp in Antalya, Turkey, played its first test match today against Uzbekistan's Neftchi (Fergana) team. The match ended with a 5-0 victory for the Aghdam representative. Sport24.az reports that head coach Gurban Gurbanov shared his thoughts on his team's game:
"It was our first game. Preparation is not going badly in general. We wish we had a little more time. We have another match on January 16. We would like to have another test match. Unfortunately, we don't have time. The players are eager, they have come to their senses. They were very tired at the end of the year. They have returned a little to their previous days, to their love of football. True, Aleksey Kashchuk and Toral Bayramov were out of training for a few days. But in general, the preparation is going according to the program. We also watched the opponent's games. They changed their system a little. I took their game like that normally".
It should be noted that "Qarabag" will hold 1 more test match within the framework of the preparation process. The team will face Polish "Zaglebie Lubin" on January 16.
