"Qarabağ" continues its transfer efforts for the Champions League this season. Sport24.az reports that Qurban Qurbanov, the head coach of the Aghdam club, has revealed the latest updates on transfer matters to GOL.az.
According to him, there will be some updates in the team.
"Qarabağ" has announced that they have parted ways with 4 players - Yassin Benzia, Patrik Andrade, Marko Vešović and Ismayil Ibrahimli.
Qurbanov noted that this may not be the end. According to him, depending on the course of events, cooperation with several more players may be terminated in the coming days. Among the potential players to be sent off are both local and foreign players.
The head coach of "Qarabağ" stated that active work is currently underway to attract new players to the squad. He said that although they have not yet reached a full agreement with any players, there are 2 foreign players they are close to. One of them is a midfielder, and the other is a defender. He also said that they are currently negotiating with a striker.
Qurbanov denied the news that they are interested in Pedro Bicalho, a midfielder owned by Palmeiras who plays on loan for Santa Clara (Portugal), and Diego Campos, a winger from the Costa Rican national team.
The head coach of "Qarabağ" also said that they want to attract 5-6 new players to their squad during the summer transfer window.
