Azerbaijan has increased its point reserve in the UEFA ranking.
Idman.biz reports that this happened after Qarabag's match against Shkendija (North Macedonia) in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.
The Azerbaijani champion, who won 1:0 away, added another 0.250 points to our country's ranking. Thus, Azerbaijan's score in the last 5 seasons reached 19,000.
Our country is in 28th place. Ukraine, which is one step ahead of us, has 19.225 points, and Russia, which is following Azerbaijan in 29th place, has 18.299 points.
It should be noted that the decrease in the point difference with Ukraine was caused by the defeat of Kyiv's Dynamo in the Champions League. They lost 0:1 to Cyprus's Pafos in the first match of the third qualifying round.
