The number of victories of Azerbaijani clubs in European cups has reached 150.
"Report" reports with reference to the press service of the Professional Football League that the jubilee victory coincided with the "Qarabag" - "Shelbourne" match held within the framework of the return matches of the II qualifying round of the Champions League.
The Aghdam representative surpassed the Irish club with a score of 1:0. The 150th victory coincided with the 477th match on the continental stage.
Our representatives pleased their fans 38 times in the Champions League, 82 in the Europa League (formerly the UEFA Cup), 21 in the Conference League, and 9 in the Intertoto Cup. 87 of the victories were at home, and 63 were away.
It should be noted that the first victory of our teams dates back to July 17, 1996. On that day, "Neftchi" defeated Sofia "Lokomotiv" 2:1 in Baku.
