Qarabag's victory brings Jose Mourinho closer to becoming Benfica's head coach

Jose Mourinho could become the new head coach of Benfica. Sport24.az reports that "Record" has reported on this.

 

The 62-year-old Portuguese is close to replacing Bruno Lage, who was dismissed after a 3-2 defeat to Qarabag in the first round of the Champions League.

 

It should be noted that Mourinho was dismissed from Fenerbahce in early September after a 0:0, 0:1 defeat to Benfica in the Champions League qualifying round.
